Halloween Inspirations

Hello,

Here are some Halloween ideas that I have picked up for this year. Since Great Gatsby was a big hit this year I am expecting a lot of inspirations coming from the 1920s.

Makeup is simple winged eyeliner and deep red lipstick will set the theme (Rimmel no. 11 Kate Moss collection is a great red)
Pearl necklaces and bracelets are sure to be in every women's closet. A bling hair accessory would be plus and a fringe dress just search for 1920s fashion.

Moving ahead in the years Mad Men ended on quite a high note. Take some inspiration from the women. It's all about statement necklaces and some bold eyes.

Pop art is a popular choice for this year's Halloween theme. So take out all you major makeup gear and some paint to try this.

Sadly could not find out any character from the year's biggest T.V hit Breaking Bad however one can try to be lab assistant to the great Heisenberg.. Hahahah.

Tea Tree Blessing!

I got a couple of sachets from The Body Shop of their masks and here is the review for the Tea Tree mask.

This instantly cooling face mask cleanses, soothes and refreshes the skin.

• Helps remove impurities
• Absorbs excess oil
• Soothes skin

This mask is best for people who get face wax and are victims to pimples and redness. As soon as you apply it there will be a cooling sensation this helps in reducing the itchiness in pimples and soothes the redness.

According to the website : HOW TO APPLY: 

Smooth a thin layer onto pat-dried skin, clean face and neck with your fingertips. Leave for 5 to 10 minutes (mask will not dry). Then rinse off with clean water and pat skin dry. Use once or twice per week, after cleansing.

This mask should not be used for people who have dry skin very often Once a month is good. As I have dry skin I noticed a dry skin patch when I applied makeup the next day. I would buy the full sized product however because I have acne problems and especially after face wax my face needs some cooling mask. Now I would remember to put on a heavy moisturizer afterwards.

I have heard other users say it helps to remove black heads, I did not notice however maybe after continuous use this fact come up to the surface. 

The result is amazing, my pimples have soothed and redness was reduced.

Today I countdown my 5 favorite products for September and they are:

1. The E.L.F small tapered  brush is dome shaped and ideal for precision application. Contouring and highlighting are made easy, if you need to set your concealer with powder this brush will go on dusting the right amount.

2. E.l.F Contouring and blush and bronzer creme duo (St.Lucia) is also holding up pretty nicely. The bronzer stays put throughout the event and does not melt away with heat as to what I experienced could also be due to the primer I have underneath. The pink blush is tricky, lighter application doesn't last and a little bit more can make it look really heavy.

3. Rimmel Kate Moss Lipstick in no. 11 is my most favorite item for the fall. The formula doesn't dry lips stays put throughout the day or at least the stain will be there (definitely a good investment). My lips are darker and the color comes out similarily to Samba (Pantone color) red. This shade is in this year's fall/winter colors.

4. Rimmel vinyl jelly lip gloss lip liner 004 Sorbet like mentioned in my review, they come out very shimmery. However, due to the dryness of the weather which has started I can't help but reach out for these they are super moisturizing and make your lipstick stay on.

5. Bourjois khol and contour eye pencil no.78 brun design  is not the Clubbing waterproof eye liner but is ever so smooth. The pencil glides like a crayon and is very long lasting. This brown does an excellent job of enhancing my eyes than the black. It smudges easily as well. It can be used for lining your waterline and that stays put as well. I use it for my eyebrows, eye liner and waterline liner.

All of these are Drugstore options and great for long lasting applications. Great value for money and color pay off!
