Recently at the British Fashion Awards 2013 the dark lip trend was a big trend and its always a classic look for winters but definitely making more of a statement at the moment.
We just did not get to see the dark deep red but a variety of shades which was a welcome change for the winters.
Starting off with the big guns of the night, Kate Moss and Rita Ora were most talked about.
They both wore similar red lip look, Kate moss had a slightly smudged technique and the red was not very deep, kind of orangy.
Rita Ora came in with the defined orangy red lip. Very clean and neat look!
Alexa Chung's red lip also had a orange tinge to it. Definitely the trend is dominated by a brighter red than the oxblood red than last season.
Lily Donaldson's red lip i found best as it had a pink tinge to it. Her lip color brought a freshness to the dominant orange red tone seen throughout the night.
The designer L'Wren Scot had a lot of orange going on with her outfit and accessories which looked quite stunning and her lip was not far away from it.
Clemence Posey was seen in a red plum deep lip it was a classic but never the less made an impact.
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, looked immaculate head to toe!
So choose a shade for yourself and work out the look for the season.
