Weekend reads: Beauty In focus

Jessica Alba has nailed style and beauty trends every time she walks the red carpet or running errands around town.

This beauty icon has made simple elegant choices that can be followed day and night. Here are some examples that can serve as inspiration for your makeup routine this fall/winter.

The bright pink and bronze eyes make this ombre look even better.
This look can be carried day or night.

Lips: M.A.C Candy Yum Yum Dupe Maybelline Color Sensation Fushia Flash.

Face: NARS Laguna Alternative ELF creme contour blush and bronzer duo in St. Lucia

Eyes: Maybeline Color Tattoo in Back to the Bronze, Pearl white brightening eye pencil in the tear duct area & waterline, any gel liner, Maybelline Rocket mascara, Boujois Khol and Contour liner pencil in 03 Brun Expressif. Eyebrows must be done!

The orange is not going anywhere. Perfect day lip with pastel and taupe colors for fall/winter. Even black brightens with orange.

Eyes: Simple with a light highlighting color on the lids. Brown matte shade swept across crease to create more depth. Tight lining. Lots of mascara on the outer side.

Face: Matte foundation Bourjois Healthy mix or Match Master M.A.C and contour.

Lips: Rimmel Kate Moss matte in 109 coral

Classic fall/winter shade and will definitely make the monochromes
standout.

Lips:  Best lip color for Fall
Rimmel 120 Cutting Edge.

Eyes: Bronze eyes, liner with lots of mascara, add demi whispies for the night.

Face: Add a deep plum blush on the contour area on the cheeks it gives a different look than the usual tan look and contour with normally on the rest of the face. Ben Nye powder in the center for highlight. Add a hint of bright pink on the cheeks.

This or That: Help me decide

Hello,

I have been long researching for choosing the right colors to get my hair dyed again. I already have my ombre look but now I want to go in again with full flesh color! My skin is warm toned and my original hair color is dark brown as well as my eye brows and eye color almost black brown.

Here are a few options i have come up with:

Look 1:

Jessica Alba
Jessica Alba hair

I love the above coloring, however my base shade is darker than Jessica Alba's hair hence the results will not be similar. The honey and caramel colors used for highlights and low lights will also process differently on my hair as my base color is darker.

Look 2:

Lily Aldridge

This is an ombre but I'm thinking for going with the lighter color on her ends for my highlights. Lily Aldridge's skin is warm and her base hair color is dark this lighter shade is more likely to come out more similar on my hair.

Look 3:

Eva Longoria

I definitely want to include these light chocolate brown colors. I am confused as too if I should go for
this look alone or include the chocolate brown color with my highlights.

Another one color chunky streaks idea I found on Pinterest. These are caramel color highlights on a dark base color which is easier for me to achieve.

Please leave a comment for advice will be of great help!
