Ready to kick start the week

Hello,

I tried another shade of the L'Oreal Color Riche collection no.602 in the shade 'Perle De Jade'.

L'Oreal Color Riche (602)Perle De Jade
The application is streaky in first coat. i needed to put at least 2-3 coats to make it even. The second coat application should be applied very very gently and slowly and make sure only using the very tip of the brush. Otherwise the result might still be uneven. It takes some time to dry but not like any other drugstore option is any faster so it is good.

I really like the compact packaging and easy to fit in when travelling.

All in all I love this color. It is highly recommended this season to own this cool minty shade and goes great with the neutrals and brights.

Grooving into the week with Lush Tangerine

Hello,

I recently tried Lush Tangerine(303) nail color by Color Riche L'Oreal. The consistency is good and not great because few sheer streaks can appear and you definitely need 2 coats or 3 to create the perfect application.

This color can also be found in the O.P.I orange collection I cannot pin point the definite shade however I believe Hot and Spicy or Tangerine Scene come closer.

The packaging is great as these are sleek and slender bottles which don't take much space especially if you are a nail color junkie. I have so many I had to come up with an extra storage box.

Barbara Palvin wore this bright hue look at the Cannes 2013, daring and I love it. As she is a L'Oreal spokesmodel she is wearing the same L'Oreal nail polish!

Nail Trend 2013: Lilac it!

Hello everyone,

Nails are an important part of every girl's beauty routine. Setting into my Sunday I wanted to start off my week by one of the biggest trends this season ,Yes lilac nails.

Essence-Ballerina Charm

This color is so feminine and adds chic and sophistication to any look.  In addition the color is such a break away from the bright and dark shades I've been trying. No one should be afraid to pull this color off as it looks best from the fairest to the darkest skin colored people including older and the younger generation.

I tried the lilac from Essence "Color and go" collection no.131 Ballerina charm. I added a twist by putting a coat of Sally Hansen "Sheerly Opal"on my toe nails which gave an extra Oomph. The Sally Hansen color is a pearly shade which came in  the French manicure kit.

The Essence color ranges are best and I found them to be the cheapest in the market. The lilac shade stays put very well for at least 2 days. I would recommend adding the top coat or just the "Sheerly Opal". Though the color is cheap in price but I found Essence colors hardly make the nails go yellow a concern when purchasing lower priced nail lacquers.

Also check out L'Oreal's Color Riche collection, Revlon and O.P.I for lilac shades.

Quick Tip: Lilac hardly has any restrictions it can be worn to important presentations (work/university), weddings, day events anywhere and everywhere!

Pastel hues are all the rage this summer from clothes to beauty items so pairing it up with other pastels colors or neon brights is not a problem at all.
