What's in my winter stock!

As the changes in season occur our skin requires different routines as well. We have read about what's in a travel bag but what do you bring out for the winters?

In winters more careful, a little dehydrated and lines and dry patches will be more obvious.

Following are some things I'm excited to work out with this winter:

Goodies in my winter stock

1. The Olay Total 7 effects day moisturizer (detail review will come in a while as I have just bought it).
2. Olay essentials complete night creme (detail review will come in a while as I have just bought it).
3. Honey mania body butter, The Body Shop (purchasing 2nd time)
4. Cocoa Butter creme body scrub, The Body Shop (detail review will come in a while as I have just bought it).
5. Essential almond oil for hair and nails
6.Revlon PHOTOREADY foundation
7.Revlon Just Bitten Kissable balm stain in Love sick
8. Revlon Matte balm in Sultry
9. Rimmel liptick in Cutting Edge in 120

The Body Shop body butters are the best product for winters they keep the skin hydrated, smooth and glossy. The scrubs are ever important in winters as in summers. The dead skin and the flaky dryness will be cleaned and skin looks polished.

I have been a fan of using essential oils all year round so I always keep them at an arms length. Almond oil is great for moisturizing skin, nails and hair. Especially if you're a nail color addict then your nails definitely need almond oil to keep hydrated in between polish changes. Keep consistent your nails will be shinning without manicures and buffers.

Revlon Photoready foundation I did not find best in the summers so kept it for the drier months. It has worked out quiet nicely. Detail review will be posted in a few days.

Revlon Matte balm in Sultry 225

The lip colors in LoveSick (bright pink) and Sultry (dusty rose) are absolute love. These colors are great for people with dark lips, tan/olive skin tones or the undertones of  their skin is yellow. Sultry is best day color or understated lips at night. Lovesick is great for fun occasions or night outs.

The Rimmel cutting Edge in 120 is definitely a classic fall color. A deep mauve/purple. It turns out a little lighter (when photographed) on my lips than the shade looks.

Review: Revlon Colorstay Photoready creme blush

Hello,

I purchased the Revlon Photo Ready creme blush in the shade 200 Flushed Rougissant. There are total 3 blushes in this range one is a flush pink, Coral and a natural nude shade with shimmer.
200 Flushed Rougissant-(PIcture with flash)
The has a lemony scent. I do not like scents, however this is not overpowering and definitely will not stay after application.

(Picture without flash)
This pink looks very bright but blends smoothly and softly. It just gives the perfect soft,  flushed look. When I started using the creme blush it came across as a mostly matte pink and not very shiny or overtly frosted however there is a bit of sheen to it. If someone likes a matte color this is not bad at all as the shimmer is highly subtle.

Sadly it just doesn't last very long so you need to keep it in your purse in case you need to touch up.
The packaging is quite sleek. The formula is in a thick transparent plastic jar and the top is black.

The look

Take care and join me:

Nail Trend 2013: Lilac it!

Hello everyone,

Nails are an important part of every girl's beauty routine. Setting into my Sunday I wanted to start off my week by one of the biggest trends this season ,Yes lilac nails.

Essence-Ballerina Charm

This color is so feminine and adds chic and sophistication to any look.  In addition the color is such a break away from the bright and dark shades I've been trying. No one should be afraid to pull this color off as it looks best from the fairest to the darkest skin colored people including older and the younger generation.

I tried the lilac from Essence "Color and go" collection no.131 Ballerina charm. I added a twist by putting a coat of Sally Hansen "Sheerly Opal"on my toe nails which gave an extra Oomph. The Sally Hansen color is a pearly shade which came in  the French manicure kit.

The Essence color ranges are best and I found them to be the cheapest in the market. The lilac shade stays put very well for at least 2 days. I would recommend adding the top coat or just the "Sheerly Opal". Though the color is cheap in price but I found Essence colors hardly make the nails go yellow a concern when purchasing lower priced nail lacquers.

Also check out L'Oreal's Color Riche collection, Revlon and O.P.I for lilac shades.

Quick Tip: Lilac hardly has any restrictions it can be worn to important presentations (work/university), weddings, day events anywhere and everywhere!

Pastel hues are all the rage this summer from clothes to beauty items so pairing it up with other pastels colors or neon brights is not a problem at all.
